I have worked as a designer since 2009 as well as interned for high-end companies in diverse fields (editorial, entertainment, luxury to name a few); currently working full time as a UI designer at kikin Inc. I strive to infuse design with visual metaphors, thoroughly communicate concepts and employ unconventional materials to create unique user experiences.
 

A brief FAQ

When/how did you become interested in graphic design?

As a kid I was always drawn to symbols. I loved the idea of a single thing equating meaning. In medieval tales the standards and banners interested me more than anything else. That, in tandem with the marvel of the mass exposure and reproduction of something you make for everyone else to see ,did it for me.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I’m really enjoying working in UI & UX design. I’m always learning new stuff so what specifically will be my focus tomorrow is difficult to determine. I can tell you it will be visual and it will be awesome.

Are your designs always colorful and playful?

NO. Not everything that I do gets posted here. What I post here are things that resonate more with me and that I feel akin to my personality. I do the serious, graphically-conservative stuff as well.

What do you do when not designing? What do you like?

I play videogames (Starcraft 2, Halo 4, Magic: the Gathering, to name a few). Learn how to do stuff, read, plan world domination. Normal nerd stuff. I like bacon, chocolate, snow and sleeping.

What do you dislike?

Prejudice, disorganization and voicemail.
